This page describes how RecruitingJourney ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects the information you provide while using our beta product. This page is maintained by the RecruitingJourney team to answer common privacy questions; it is not a legal contract or independent audit.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email, and role (parent, athlete, coach).
• Athlete profile: grad year, school, position, measurables, academics, and social links you choose to add.
• Recruiting activity: coaches you track, offers, tasks, visits, and timeline events.
• AI inputs: coach messages or evaluations you paste or upload for analysis.
• Beta feedback: notes you submit through the in-app Feedback button.

How we use information

• To provide and personalize the product (your dashboard, AI guidance, weekly plan).
• To improve the product during beta — we may review aggregated or de-identified usage signals.
• To contact you about important account or product updates.

Minors

The product is intended to be used by families. Athletes under 13 should use the product with a parent or guardian account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with the service providers we need to run the product (hosting, database, authentication, AI). We may disclose information if required by law.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete most data from inside the app.
• You can request account deletion by emailing privacy@recruitingjourney.app.

Security

We use industry-standard hosting, transport encryption, and database-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we'll notify affected users promptly if we ever learn of a breach involving their data.
